Usually garments labelled as ‘Recycled Polyester’ are made from PET bottles; the bottles are collected, chopped into small pieces and melted. Then it is ready to use for any kind of material. Recycled polyester uses approximately 30% less energy to make garments than virgin polyesters, the processes save natural resources and lower greenhouse gas emissions in the use of chemicals.
With recycled polyester leather we reduce the mass of plastic waste and the water waste. Also the PU coating is produced with no solvents or any harmful chemicals.
