Sustainability is one of the pillars of our social responsibility policies and is based on production processes that use vegetable raw materials, recycled materials and bio-based polymers.
In particular, in collaboration with grape leather producers, we have developed a sustainable leather produced by grape skins, stalks and seeds discarded during wine production. Surely, this could directly improve a product’s ecological footprint.
Grape leather is soft, smooth, stable, 100% sustainable and can be recycled. It almost feels like leather and can also be processed adequately. Wine leather is 100% vegan, no animals are harmed and no animal products are used during the production process.
No toxic solvents, heavy metals and dangerous substances for humans and the environment are involved in the production process.
We are constantly searching for sustainable solutions in order to offer our customers new applications of biomaterials, and one of them is the grape leather.
